Additional information

One study, investigating the long-term toxicity to aquatic invertebrates of methyl laurate (CAS 111-82-0), was used as read across for Fatty acids, C8-18 and C18-unsatd., Me esters (CAS 67762-37-2). Based on the category, this substance is structurally and compositionally related to Fatty acids, C8-18 and C18-unsatd., Me esters. The study (Ministry of Environment, Government of Japan, 2006) according to OECD 211 determined a NOEC (21d) of 0.0814 mg/L for Daphnia magna.
