Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Description of key information

no dissociation in pH range 2 to 12, OECD 112, Stulz 1996

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Additional information

This dissociation constant of the substance was examined in accordance with the OECD guideline for testing of chemicals, number 112, May 1981. The spectra obtained in neutral, acidic and basic solution confirm that there is no dissociation constant within the range 2 to 10. At higher pH values extremely rapid hydrolysis of the substance hinders the determination, although from the chemistry of the molecule no association or dissociation is to be expected. Therefore, as expected, there is no dissociation of the substance in the range 2 to 12.
