Results
1. Introduction
Five assays were performed during the test and two assays complied with the accuracy criterion (see § 3.3.). Only these assays are presented in the following pages.
The assay No. 1 was not taken into account as the value obtained was too different from other values. A too important quantity of test item was weighed and the test item overflowed during the assays No. 2 and 3.

2. Assay No. 4
Gas used Nitrogen
Ventilation Yes
Atmospheric pressure 97.0 kPa
Crucible used Aluminium, 120 µL, with pierced lid
Mass of test item 17.46 mg
Program Phase 1: Isotherm at about 30 °C for 5 min
Heating phase from 30 °C to 500 °C at 15 °C/min

The observed boiling point of the test item for this assay was 295.4 °C. The boiling point of the test item corrected to the atmospheric pressure was 297.3 °C.
Black residues were observed in the crucible after the assay. It represented 1.7% of the test item mass weighed.

3. Assay No. 5
Gas used Nitrogen
Ventilation Yes
Atmospheric pressure 96.9 kPa
Crucible used Aluminium, 120 µL, with pierced lid
Mass of test item 16.22 mg
Program Phase 1: Isotherm at about 30 °C for 5 min
Heating phase from 30 °C to 500 °C at 15 °C/min

The observed boiling point of the test item for this assay was 295.0 °C. The boiling point of the test item corrected to the atmospheric pressure was 296.9 °C.
Black residues were observed in the crucible after the assay. It represented 1.8% of the test item mass weighed.

Conclusions:
The mean corrected boiling point of the test item was 297.1 °C ± 0.5 °C.
Executive summary:

BOILING POINT BY DSC METHOD
In compliance with Regulation (EC) No. 1907/2006, Council Regulation (EC) No. 440/2008 and EC A.2. method (2008) and OECD Guideline No. 103 (1995)
The mean corrected boiling point of the test item was 297.1 °C ± 0.5 °C.
