Conclusions:
The n-octanol/water partition coefficient (log Kow) of Quarternary ammonium compounds, tri-C8-C10-alkylmethyl, Me sulfates was determined according to OECD guideline no. 117 [adopted on 13 April 2004] and EU test method A.8 [Council Regulation (EC) No 440/2008 of 30 May 2008] with the HPLC method. The weighted average log Kow was 3.1 at 25.0 °C ± 0.2 °C.
