Results and discussion

Boiling point
Boiling pt.:
>= 120 - <= 250 °C
Atm. press.:
ca. 102 kPa
Decomposition:
no
Remarks on result:
other: Due to the complex nature of the test item, making the boiling endotherm a wide thermal event, the boiling point can only be reported as an approximate value.

Any other information on results incl. tables

The use of an open system provides opportunity to assess the stability of the test item in air and in an inert atmosphere (nitrogen). From the residue remaining after all determinations, it was confirmed that the majority of the test item boiled off during the heating process, ie. there was no decomposition.

Applicant's summary and conclusion

Executive summary:

In a guideline and GLP study, the boiling point range the UVCB substance THI-RF60 was determined to be approximately 120 -250C at ambient atmospheric pressure. It was established that there is no significant decomposition during the boiling process.
