Any other information on results incl. tables
The DSC-run in an aluminium crucible with a hole showed no endothermic effect (melting) in the temperature range 25 - 600°C. An exothermal decomposition in the temperature range 400-500°C is observed.
Applicant's summary and conclusion
- Conclusions:
- The test item has no melting point at atmospheric pressure. The test item decomposes before the melting point.
- Executive summary:
The test for melting point was conducted according to EU Method A.1 (Melting / Freezing Temperature) and OECD test guideline OECD 102 (Melting point/melting range). Differential Scanning Calorimetry (DSC) was the method used for the test. The study was conducted in accordance with the Principles of Good laboratory Practice (GLP). The results of the test showed that the test item had no melting point at atmospheric pressure, and the test item decomposed before the melting point.
