Compared to control rats the Hexobarbital sleeping time was
reduced to 72% (without gaining statistical significance) in
rats exposed to EVE on one day, and to 54% (p<0.005) in rats
that were exposed on two days.

Applicant's summary and conclusion

Conclusions:
EVE treatment increased in rats the hexobarbital sleeping time 3-5 days after the last inhalation exposure (7 h to 0.9% v/v; 26 mg/L) on two consecutive days suggesting induction of drug metabolizing enzymes.
