On the basis of the calculated log Koc of 0.99 vinyl ethyl ether is not expected to adsorb to suspended solids and sediment. Evaporation from water or moist soil surface is expected to be an important fate path of ethyl vinyl ether in the environment due to its high Henrys Law Constant. Based on these assumptions as well as on the water solubility and vapor pressure of  the molecule, vinyl ethyl ether is expected to preferentially distribute into air (99%) as predicted by a Mackay LEVEL I calculation (BASF 2016).
