In the key study (Engelhart, 2011), the density of the test material was determined in a oscillating densitimeter test performed in accordance with standardised guidelines OECD 109 and EU Method A.3. The test material was determined to have a density of 1.012 g/mL. A reliability score of 1 was assigned, in accordance with the criteria for assessing data quality in line with the principles described by Klimisch (1997).
Four further sources have been provided as supporting information, all of which report the density of the registered substance to be 0.998 g/cm³. The consensus of the supporting data is in good agreement with the key study.
Chemical Book (2012), Guide Chem (2012) and Look Chem (2012), all list the product specifications of the registered substance. No information relating to the method used to generate the data or the original sources have not been provided. A reliability score of 4 was assigned in line with the principles for assessing data quality as described by Klimisch (1997). The substance was reported to have a density of 0.998 g/cm³.
Arkema (2007) reports the density to also be 0.998 g/cm³ in a company material safety data sheet. No information on materials or methods is presented. A reliability score of 4 was therefore assigned in accordance with the criteria for assessing data quality in line with the principles described by Klimisch (1997).
