Two studies were conducted. A non-GLP study conducted according to EC Directive 67/548/EWG, Annex A.14 (Falling weight test (sensilivity to impact), Thermal sensitivity (steel sleeve test), sensitivity to friction) showed no results.


A guideline study in compliance with a recognised quality system or by laboratories complying with a relevant recognised standard, such as EN ISO/IEC 17025 was conducted according to Recommendations on the Transport of Dangerous Goods, Manual of Tests and Criteria, third revised edition, Test 2 (a) - UN Gap-Test, 2 (b) - Koenen-test and 2 (c) (i) - Time-Pressure-Test determined that the test substance is to insensitive for acceptance into Class 1.


Taking into consideration all the results of the single studies the test substance is considered not to be explosive.

Justification for classification or non-classification

In accordance with Annex I, Section 2.1 of Regulation (EC) No 1272/2008 and UN GHS Rev 6 (2015) the substance has not to be classified as explosive in class 1.
