Details on results:
There appeared to be none of the test substance dissolved in the fat and the absorbances obtained were very low, however they were used to determine the fat solubility. As the test substance is insoluble in fat and most organic solvents low level calibration curves were produced in both distilled water and methanol to compare the response factors and calculate the fat solubility.
