Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Results and discussion

Details on results:
Study not conducted. The surface active nature of the test material prevented any result being obtained. The material is totally miscible in n-octanol. The water solubility is >= 150 g/l. An estimate of the partition coefficient was not, therefore, possible.

Applicant's summary and conclusion

Conclusions:
The partition coefficient could not be determined due to the surface active nature of the test material. Method A8 of Commission Directive 92/69/EEC is not applicable to surface active materials.
Executive summary:

In a general physico-chemical properties study (525/026), the partition coefficient could not be determined due to the surface active nature of the test material. Method A8 of Commission Directive 92/69/EEC is not applicable to surface active materials.
