Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Description of key information

The D50 value of the test material was determined to be 9.25 µm. This is based on one key and one supporting study, both are internal company reports.

Additional information

The particle size distribution of the test material has been addressed by providing both a key and supporting study.

A company report is provided (2012) as the key study that was assigned a reliability score of 2, using the principles set out in Klimisch (1997). The particle size distribution of the test material was investigated in accordance with the standardised guideline ISO 13320:2009 using laser diffraction with water as the dispersion liquid.

Under the conditions of the test, the D50 value of the test material was determined to be 9.25 µm.

Further information is provided in the form of a second company report (2011) and is used as the supporting study due to being assigned a reliability score of 4, using the principles set out by Klimisch (1997). The data has been reported without including the methods adopted and it is therefore impossible to assess the accuracy of the data provided.

Under the conditions of the test, the D50 value of the test material was determined to be 9.25 µm.
