Guidance on Safe Use
Administrative data
First-aid measures
Emergency measure - Inhalation: In case of inhalation, it is necessary to bring the person
to a fresh air and induce coughing. Call a medical advice,
if necessary.
Contaminated clothes should be removed and washed with water
and soap.
Emergency measure - Eyes: In case of contact with eyes, rinse the eyes repeatedly with
plenty of water.
Emergency measure - Skin: Not dangerous for the skin.
In case of long-term exposure, several cases of skin
irritation were observed. In such case, it is recommended to
stop handling the substance.
Emergency measure - Ingestion: In case of accidental ingestion, it is necessary to drink up
several glasses of water. Do not induce vomiting, call
immediately a medical advice.
Fire-fighting measures
Recommended extinguishing agent: Use suitable extinguisher for surrounding fire. Do not use
water jets.
Product arising from burning: The substance does not burn. Pyrolysis would result in
decomposition and may produce effervescence.
Protective equipment: In the event of fire, wear full protective clothing and
self-contained breathing apparatus with full facepiece.
Accidental release measures
Emergency measures in case of spillage: The production devices are washed and cleaned in a closed
system. Therefore it is of no risk for contamining air or
water.
Workers use prescribed protective equipment.
Handling and storage
Handling: Manipulation and production is provided in the special space
with big shower and special shower for eyes.
The workers should avoid contact with eyes and with skin.
They are equipped with a special protection dress - a
helmet, masque with a filter, gloves and saftey goggles.
Storage: Substance is stored in the original packaging in the storage
room with temperature not exceeding 25 -C.
Packaging of the substance and or preparation: Substance:
Stored in plastic sealed drums, with double PE bags inside.
Handling and storage - Avoid contact with eyes. Keep normal
hygienic rules. Keep in cool, dry place. Store in closed
original packaging only.
Preparation:
On the product package there are several notes of
precautions for use:
Eucapil is intended for topical use only and is to be
applied exclusively on the scalp. Avoid exposure to the
eyes. Should the product accidentally enter the eye, flush
repeatedly with water. Avoid exposure to strong sun when
using Eucapil topically. Sunburn may be exacerbated by
Eucapil. Users with white hair may experience slight
yellowing, which disappear after shampooing.
For biosafety, Eucapil was desgned to degrade upon exposure
to any liquid containing water. Therefore, apply to the
scalp only when dry and do not allow contents of the ampule
to be exposed to the air for prolonged periods of time prior
to use.
Contents are flammable. Keep away from open flame. Keep out
of the reach of children. Not recommended for women who are
pregnant, breastfeeding or planning to become pregnant.
