Sublethal observations / clinical signs:

No auxiliary substance could help to solubilise the test substance.

Considering the low water-solubility of the test substance and in order to prevent impact of solid particles, the test substance was prepared as follows: a 1000 mg/L suspension was stirred for 2 hours; the substance in excess was then filtered. the saturated solution obtained was used as such and diluted (100% to 25%)

No mortality nor any abnormal behaviour were noted at any of these concentrations.

Analysis confirmed highest concentration <= limited of solubility.

Applicant's summary and conclusion

Validity criteria fulfilled:
not specified
Conclusions:
Due to its low water solubility, the test substance is not considered to be toxic to fish under the condition of the test.
