Description of key information

A population of Acartia tonsa was exposed to a series of test concentrations of Petasan. The test was carried out according to Dynea SOP No 31 which is an extract of teh ISO protocol: ISO/TC147/SC5/WG2. In addition to blank, nominal concentrations ranging from 1 to 846 mg/litre sea water were tested. The test lasted for 48 hrs and LC50 ( 48 hrs ) was calculated to be 508mg/litre.
