Additional information

The water solubility of isononyl benzoate was determined according to OECD guideline no. 105 [adopted on 27 July 1995] and EU test method A.6 [Directive 92/69/EEC, Official Journal L 383 A 1992] with the column elution method. The test item was dissolved in dichloromethane. The solution was given to quartz sand and mixed. Then the solvent was completely evaporated using a rotary evaporator. The loaded quartz sand were filled into the glass column and soaked for two hours in water. The flow through the column was started, after equilibrium of the test system, five samples were taken at each of two different flow rates. The concentrations of the test item in the samples were analysed by HPLC.
