In the preliminary test, the test item boiled at a temperature of 90 - 93 deg C at a pressure of about 0 - 1 mbar. During the main test, 2-(2'-Vinyloxyethoxy)ethyl acrylate was boiling at a temperature of 94 deg C and a pressure of 3.3 mbar.

In conclusion the boiling point of 2 -(2'Vinyloxyethoxy)ethyl acrylate under reduced pressure was determined to be 94 deg C at 3.3 mbar which is equal to 367.2 K at 3.3mbar.

Conclusions:
In conclusion, the boiling point of 2-(2'-Vinyloxyethoxy)ethyl acrylate under reduced pressure was determined to be 94 deg C at 3.3 mbar which is equal to 367.2 K at 3.3 mbar.
Executive summary:

In conclusion, the boiling point of 2-(2'-Vinyloxyethoxy)ethyl acrylate under reduced pressure was determined to be 94 deg C at 3.3 mbar which is equal to 367.2 K at 3.3 mbar. This was determined according to EU Method A.2 and OECD guideline 103.

Description of key information

The boiling point of 2-(2'-Vinyloxyethoxy)ethyl acrylate under reduced pressure was determined to be 94°C at 3.3 mbar

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Additional information

The boiling point under reduced pressure was determined to be 94°C at 3.3 mbar which is equal to 367.2 K at 3.3 mbar. This was determined according to EU Method A.2 and OECD guideline 103.

It is considered that under normal pressure the substance would polymerise at higher temperatures before reaching it's boiling point (which would be higher than that at reduced pressure). Therefore, the boiling point at 101,325 Pa is not considered relevant for chemical safety assessment.
