Administrative data
First-aid measures
IF ON SKIN: Brush off loose particles from skin. Immerse in cool water.
In case of contact with eyes or ingestion immediatly seek medical advice.
Fire-fighting measures
In case of fire: Use extinguishing powder to extinguish. Never use water!
SPECIAL PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT FOR FIRE-FIGHTERS
Normal fire fighting clothing i.e. fire kit (BS EN 469), gloves (BS EN 659) and boots (HO specification A29 and A30) in combination with self-contained open circuit positive pressure compressed air breathing apparatus (BS EN 137).
Accidental release measures
In the event of spillage, NEVER spray powder with water to prevent the formation of dust. Keep away from moisture.
Use suitable material for taking up: absorbing material, organic, sand. Immediatly collect and store the substance in a dry place in a closed container.
Handling and storage
Avoid contact with eyes and skin. Do not breathe powders, vapours or mists. Avoid leakage of the product into the environment. Work in adequately ventilated areas. Avoid flames and sparks. Do not eat, drink or smoke during use. Remove any contaminated clothes and personal protective equipment before entering places in which people eat.
Keep away from heat, sparks and naked flames; do not smoke or use matches or lighters. Avoid bunching of electrostatic charges. In order to avoid the risk of fires and explosions, never use compressed air when handling. Open containers with caution as they may be pressurised.
Store only in the original container. Keep the product in clearly labelled containers. Keep containers well sealed. Avoid contact with water or that may absorb moisture at all costs. Avoid violent blows. Avoid overheating. Store in a ventilated and dry place, far away from sources of ignition. Keep containers away from any water and incompatible materials.

Exposure controls / personal protection
As the use of adequate technical equipment must always take priority over personal protective equipment, make sure that the workplace is well aired through effective local aspiration.
If the product may or must come into contact or react with water, suitable technical and/or organisational measures should be taken to prevent the development of toxic and/or inflammable gases.
Wear suitable PPE: category I professional long-sleeved overalls and safety footwear (see Regulation 2016/425 and standard EN ISO 20344), protect the hands with type C gloves (see standard EN 374); wear airtight protective goggles (see standard EN 166); wear respiratory protective equipment.
Stability and reactivity
Avoid overheating. Do not allow contact with water. Prevent moisture or water from penetrating inside the containers.
Disposal considerations
Keep contaminated materials in a dry place and protect them from moisture.
Dispose of contents/container in accordance with national regulations.
