Conclusion on classification

Based on the data of substance:

Biodegradation: the substance is not readily biodegradable

Partition coefficient: logKow = 3.1

Short-term toxicity to aquatic invertebrates: EC50 (Daphnia magna) at 48h = 0.1 mg/L

Toxicity to aquatic algae and cyanobacteria: ErC50 (Scenedesmus subpsicatus) at 72h > 12.4 < 22.1 mg/L, NOEC(growth rate) at 72h = 9.1 mg/L

Acute aquatic toxicity classification: according to Regulation (EC) No. 1272/2008 the substance should be classified as H400 (category acute 1) as the most sensitive EC50 is <1 mg/L.

Chronic aquatic toxicity classification: according to Regulation (EC) No. 1272/2008 the substance should be classified as H410 (category chronic 1) as the most sensitive EC50 is 0.1 mg/L and the substance is a non-rapidly degradable substance.
