Description of key information

Hydrolysis

The substance is hydrolytically stable at pH 4, 7 and 9 at 50 °C (reference 5.1.2-1).

Biodegradation

This endpoint is covered by an analogue approach.

In a study according to OECD TG 301 B under GLP, the source substance was found to be not readily biodegradable (reference 5.2.1-1). Thus, reading this result across, also the target substance is considered to be not readily biodegradable.

Adsorption/desorption

In accordance with Column 2 of Annex IX of Regulation EC No 1907/2006, the adsorption-desorption test (required in section 9.3.3.) is not required as the substance has low octanol water partition coefficient (Log Pow -2.2 at 20 °C) and the adsorption potential of the test item is related to this parameter (reference 5.4.1-1).
