Conclusions:
Hydroxypropyl, N-2-, N,N,N-trimethylammonium 2-ethylhexanoate boiling point was determined using OECD 103 (Siwoloboff method). The sample was decomposing before reaching boiling point.
Executive summary:

Hydroxypropyl, N-2-, N,N,N-trimethylammonium 2-ethylhexanoate boiling point was determined using OECD 103 (Siwoloboff method). The heating range was run from 100°C – 175°C, at a ramp rate of 1.0°C/min. Ambient pressure at the time of testing was 998 mbar. The sample is a clear, colorless liquid in the boiling point tube at room temperature. During the course of heating, sample decomposition was observed. Decomposition was indicated by a change in the sample color from colorless to light brown. The onset of this slow, subtle color change was difficult to detect.
