Results

In the thermograms of the DSC (runs PN7670 and PN7685) an endothermic effect (melting) was observed in the temperature range of -90 °C to -70 °C. Between 140 – 270 °C a second endothermic effect (boiling) could be detected.

Final Results

The test item has a melting point of -84.5 °C at atmospheric pressure (996 hPa) as determined by differential scanning calorimetry according to Regulation EC No. 440/2008 Method A.1., OECD Test Guideline 102 (1995), EPA OCSPP 830.7200 (1998) and CIPAC MT 1 (2009).

A melting point value of <-84.5 °C (at 996 hPa) was determined for the test substance according to E.U. Method A.1.
