Rationale:

The substance is not to be classified as acutely hazardous to the aquatic environment, since the lowest acute effect value is >> 1 mg/L (estimated 48-h EC50 for aquatic invertebrates: 134 mg/L; (Q)SAR Toolbox v4.1; substance within applicability domain).

Chronic toxicity data are not available; therefore, the classification is based on the available acute toxicity data.

- Acute toxicity data:

The assessment is based on the available acute toxicity data. Considering fish, aquatic invertebrates and aquatic algae, acute toxicity is >>1 mg/L (96-h LC50 for fish: 146.6 mg/L; estimated 48-h EC50 for invertebrates: 134 mg/L; 72-h ErC50 for algae: 483 mg/L, marine data).
