First-aid measures
If inhaled: If breathed in, move person into fresh air. Artificial respiration and/or oxygen may be necessary. Take victim immediately to hospital.
In case of skin contact: Take off contaminated clothing and shoes immediately. Wash off immediately with plenty of water. If symptoms persist, call a physician. Wash contaminated clothing before re-use.
In case of eye contact: Rinse immediately with plenty of water, also under the eyelids, for at least 5 minutes. If eye irritation persists, consult a specialist.
If swallowed: Rinse mouth with water. Call a physician immediately.
Most important symptoms and effects, both acute and delayed
Ingestion may provoke the following symptoms: calming, tremors, relaxation of the muscles
Indication of any immediate medical attention and special treatment needed: Treat symptomatically.
Fire-fighting measures
Suitable extinguishing media: water mist, dry powder, foam, carbon dioxide (CO2), sand, aqueous film forming foam (AFFF).
Unsuitable extinguishing media : water spray jet
Hazardous combustion products: Nitrogen oxides (NOx), Fluorine compounds, Carbon oxides
Special protective equipment for firefighters: In the event of fire, wear self-contained breathing apparatus. Firefighters must wear fire resistant personal protective equipment.
Avoid dust formation.
Accidental release measures
Personal precautions: Evacuate personnel to safe areas. Avoid dust formation. Use personal protective equipment. disposable one-piece overall. Suitable mask with particle filter P3 (European Norm 143)
Environmental precautions: Should not be released into the environment.
Methods for cleaning up: Shovel into suitable container for disposal. Pick up and arrange disposal without creating dust. Keep in properly labelled containers. Keep in suitable, closed containers for disposal. Treat recovered material as described in the section "Disposal Considerations".
Handling and storage
Advice on safe handling: Ensure all equipment is electrically grounded before beginning transfer operations.
Advice on protection against fire and explosion: Avoid dust formation.
Hygiene measures: Handle in accordance with good industrial hygiene and safety practice.
Dust explosion class: St2
Recommended storage temperature: 15 - 25 °C

Exposure controls / personal protection
Personal protective equipment
Eye protection: Tightly fitting safety goggles
Hand protection: Nitrile rubber. Take note of the information given by the producer concerning permeability and break through times, and of special workplace conditions (mechanical strain, duration of contact).
Skin and body protection: closed work clothing, disposable one-piece overall
Respiratory protection: Engineering controls should always be the primary method of controlling exposures. If respiratory protective equipment is needed for certain activities, the type as well as the corresponding protection factor will depend upon the risk assessment and air concentrations, hazards, physical and warning properties of substances pre-sent. Use only respiratory protection that conforms to international/ national standards. Suitable mask with particle filter P3.
Protective measures: The type of protective equipment must be selected according to the concentration and amount of the dangerous substance at the specific workplace.
Stability and reactivity
Reactivity: None reasonably foreseeable.
Chemical stability: Stable under recommended storage conditions.
Possibility of hazardous reactions: Hazardous polymerisation does not occur.
Conditions to avoid: No data available
Incompatible materials (materials to avoid): Oxidizing agents
Hazardous decomposition products: Carbon oxides, Fluorocarbons, Nitrogen oxides (NOx)
Disposal considerations
Waste treatment methods: In accordance with local and national regulations.
