The solubility of the test substance “hydroxylamines, di-C16-18 (even numbered) alkyl” in water was determined by measuring dissolved organic carbon (DOC) in th filtrated test solution. The organic carbon content of the test substance was determined to 79.88%. No temperature dependency of the water solubility was observed. The flask method with slow shaking was used for the determination of the solubility of the test substance in water.

At the plateau, the limit concentration of DOC in water was 0.1 mg/L. Taking into account the organic carbon content this results to a water solubility (limit value) of the test substance of 0.13 mg/L at 20.0+/-0.5°C for the following nominal concentration range of the test substance in water: 50-2500 mg/L.
