- not classified
- Remarks:
- Migrated information Criteria used for interpretation of results: EU
- Conclusions:
- There were no deaths in a group of rats exposed to pentene-1 at a concentration in air of 19.6 mg/l. Pentene-1 is biologically inert in terms of acute lethality.
- Executive summary:
Acute inhalation study was conducted in rats (substance as vapour) with 4 -hour exposure period. There were no deaths in a group of rats exposed to pentene-1 at a concentration in air of 19.6 mg/l. Pentene-1 is biologically inert in terms of acute lethality. LD 50 of the substance is expected to be greater than 19.6 mg/l.
The test material does not meet the criteria for classification according to EU classification system (Council Directive 67/548/EEC and Regulation (EC) No 1272/2008).
The test was conducted at the GLP facility in accordance with test guidelines, therefore a reliability of 1 is assigned to the data.
