The auto-ignition temperature of the test substance was measured under GLP according to IEC 79-4 method (listed in EU A15 guideline).
The test substance was injected into a heated flask, varying the volume, until the lowest temperature at which ignition occurs was determined. The relevant parameters were recorded for the final result.
The auto-ignition temperature of the test substance is 294°C.

Additional information
A fully reliable experimental study, conducted according to a recognized EC method and under GLP, is available. It is therefore considered as a key study. The result is retained as key data for purpose of CSA.
It should be noted that, due to the multi-isomers nature of the substance tested, this result may refer to the most flammable one. However, as structures are close and b.p. range limited, auto-ignition temperature is not anticipated to vary significantly between components.
