Description of key information

The substance is not readily biodegradable. No degradation occours after 7, 10 and 14 days. After 21 days it ranges between 0 and 2%. After 28 days it ranges between 0 and 3%. Changes in pH (4, 7 or 9) do not affect hydrolysis.

Additional information

The reliability of the studies was judged as not assignable (score 4) because of the lack of study details. This would represent an obstacle to use the studies results for the classification and labelling (C&L) of the substance. However, the studies were previously presented within the context of a regulatory framework and the lack of details available to us does not necessarily mean that they have to be discarded.

Therefore, even with the above mentioned limitations, the studies were considered in order to define the C&L of the substance.
