Short-term toxicity to fish

In a static acute toxicity test to fish, Zebra fish (Brachydanio rerio) were exposed for 96 hours according to OECD 203 (1992). The LC50 was determined to be greater than 100 mg/L but lower than 215 mg/L, the LOEC was determined to be 215 mg/L and the NOEC was determined to be 46.4 mg/L.

Short-term toxicity to aquatic invertebrates

In a static acute toxicity test to invetrabrate, Daphnia magna were exposed for 48 hours according to OECD 202. The EC50 was determined to be 12.3 mg/L.

Toxicity to aqautic algae

In a static toxicity test to aquatic algae, Pseudokirchnerliella subcapitata were exposed for 72 hours according to OECD 201. The EC50 was determined to be 182 mg/L (95 % confidence limits: 12.1 - 12.5 mg/L) and EC10 was 46.3 mg/L (95% CI: <25.0-58.9mg/L).

Toxicity to microorganisms

The toxic effects of the test substance on the oxygen consumption rate of aerobic micro-organisms (activated sludge) after short-term exposure of 30 min was determined to be according to the OECD 209. The EC20 was determined to be 1800 mg/ and the EC50 was determined to be higher than 2288 mg/L.
