Any other information on results incl. tables

In the temperature range of 170 °C and 200 °C, weight loss was too small for accurate measurement. A valid log p versus 1/T curve could not be obtained for the test substance. Therefore the coefficient of correlation (r) could not be determined. Testing at higher temperature is not possible due to reaction and/or decomposition of the test substance. Since accurate determination of the vapour pressure was not possible, the weight losses were compared with the results of chrysene at the same temperatures. The weight loss of the test substance was lower than the weight loss of chrysene. The vapor pressure of procrylate is therefore reported as being less than the established value for chrysene at the relevant temperatures.

Applicant's summary and conclusion

Conclusions:
The vapor pressure of procrylat is < 8.4E-07 Pa (< 6.3E-09 mm Hg) at 20 °C and < 1.3E-06 Pa (< 9.6E-09 mm Hg) at 25 °C as determined by the OECD 104 method.
Executive summary:

The vapor pressure of procrylat was determined by the isothermal thermogravimetric effusion method. In the temperature range of 170 °C and 200 °C, weight loss was too small for accurate measurement. Accurate determination of the vapour pressure was not possible; the vapor pressure of procrylate is therefore reported as being less than the established value for chrysene at the relevant temperatures. The test was done according to EU Method A.4 “Vapour pressure” and OECD 104 “Vapour Pressure Curve” and in accord with GLP guidelines but only resulted in an upper limit; therefore this study is classified as reliable with restriction.
