Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Additional information

The determination was carried out with the ETAD method which is based on the water solubility method OECD 105, flask method.

This standard method was developed by intensive cooperation with the ETAD (Ecological and Toxicological Association of Dyes and Organic Pigments Manufacturers) and is regarded as acceptable for pigments by authorities.

The solubilities of test item in water and in n-octanol after stirring for 72h at 30°C were below 10 ppb. However the validation of the method failed: The test item dissolved in water showed a strong tendency of adsorption on surfaces. High concentration levels of test item are adsorbed in a filtration step on the surface of cellulose filters and/or on glass surfaces. The resulting filtrate showed no UV absorption. For that reason, it was impossible to validate the method.

The limit of detection of both solvents was at 10 ppb in n-octanol and water.
