Administrative data
First-aid measures
Skin contact: Wash off with warm water and soap. If skin irritation persists, call a physician. Wash contaminated clothing before re-use.
Eye contact: Rinse throughly with plenty of water, also under the eyelids. If eye irritation persists, consult a specialist.
Ingestion: Do NOT induce vomiting. Clean mouth with water and drink afterwards plenty of water. Obtain medical attention. Never give anything by mouth to an unconscious person.
Symptoms: None Known
Treatment: For specialist advise physicians should contact the Poisons Information Service.
Fire-fighting measures
Specific hazards during fire fighting: Burning produces irritant flames. Exposure to decomposition products may be a hazard to health.
Special protective equipment for fire-fighters: In the event of fire, wear self-contained breathing apparatus. Full protective flameproof clothing.
Further information: Fight fires from a safe distance. Move containers from fire area if possible. Cool containers / tanks with water spray. Prevent fire extinguishing water from contaminating surface water or the ground water system.
Accidental release measures
Environmental precautions: Do not allow contact with soil, surface or ground water. Do not flush into surface water or sanitary sewer system.
Methods for cleaning up: Contain spillage, soak up with non-combustible absorbent material, (e.g. sand, earth, diatomaceous earth, vermiculite) and transfer to a container for disposal according to local / national regulations.
Additional advice: Keep in properly labelled containers. Dispose of rinse water as waste water.
Handling and storage
Advice on safe handling: Handle in accordance with good industrial hygiene and safety practice. Avoid inhalation, ingestion and contact with skin and eyes. Use personal protective equipment as required. Use only in well-ventilated areas. Handle and open container with care. Keep container tightly closed.
Storage
Requirements for storage areas and containers: Kepp containers tightly closed in a dry, cool and well-ventilated place. Keep only in the original container.
Other data: Stable under normal conditions.
Specific use(s): Raw material for industry.

Exposure controls / personal protection
Engineering measures: Effective exhaust ventilation system. Ensure that extracted air cannot be returned to the workplace through the ventilation system. Ensure that eyewash stations and safety showers are close to the workstation location.
Environmental exposure controls: General Advice: Do not allow contact with soil, surface or ground water. Do not flush into surface wter or sanitary sewer system.
Respiratory protection: In the case of vapour formation use a respirator with an approved filter. Respirator with a vapour filter (EN 141).
Hand protection: Gloves, Nitrile rubber, Impervious butyl rubber gloves.
Eye protection: Safety glasses with side-sheilds or Safety goggles.
Skin and body protection: Long sleeved clothing. To protect against splashes from pouring: Chemical resistant apron, Rubber or plastic boots. Remove and wash contaminated clothing before re-use.
Hygiene measures: Handle in accordance with good industrial hygiene and safety practice. Ensure adequate ventilation, especially in confined areas. Wear suitable gloves and eye / face protection. Avoid contact with skin, eyes and clothing. When using do not eat, drink or smoke. Wash thoroughly after handling. Keep working clothes seperately. Wash contaminated clothing before re-use.
Stability and reactivity
Chemical stability: Stable under normal conditions.
Hazardous reactions: Will not occur.
Conditions to avoid: Extremes of temperature and direct sunlight. Exposure to moisture. Contamination.
Materials to avoid: None known.
Hazardous decomposition products: Carbon monoxide, carbon dioxide and unburned hydrocarbons (smoke). Oxides of phosphorus.
Thermal decomposition: >300°C.
Disposal considerations
Waste must be classified and labelled prior to recycling or disposal.
Do not contaminate ponds, waterways or ditches with chemical or used container.
