Additional information

Several reliable literature sources reported the melting point of 1-dioxane to be between 10 ° and 13 °C at ambient pressure. The Hazardous Substances Data Bankr eported the melting point to be 11.75 °C at 1013 hPa. Several entires (18) in REAXYS reported the melting point to be between 11 °C and 13 °C at 1013.25 hPa and the GESTIS - Substance database reported the melting point to be 10 °C at 1013 hPa. They are all peer reviewed and authoritative secondary sources and regarded to be reliable for 1-dioxane. The value from Hazardous Substances Data Bank was chosen as key parameter for the melting point.
