Description of key information

17-d NOEC ≥100 mg/kg dwt, T. aestivum, reliability 1

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Additional information

Exposure of Triticum aestivum seeds to the test substance at a nominal concentration of 100 mg/kg soil dry weight did not inhibit subsequent emergence and growth of seedlings over 17 days (17-day NOEC ≥100 mg/kg soil dry weight).

Studies with Trifolium ornithopodioides and Lepidium sativum terrestrial plants have also determined NOECs ≥100 mg/kg soil dwt.

The studies do not fulfill the requirement for long-term toxicity assessment, therefore the long-term toxicity endpoint is waived based on chemical safety assessment.
