Data platform availability banner - registered substances factsheets
Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.
The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Administrative data
First-aid measures
General information: Remove contaminated clothing immediately and dispose of safely.
After inhalation: When dust is intensively inhaled, seek medical help immediately.
After contact with skin: In case of contact with skin wash off immediately with plenty of water.
After contact with eyes: In case of contact with eyes rinse thoroughly with plenty of water and seek medical advice
After ingestion: When swallowed seek medical aid immediately and show the physician the packaging or the label of the packaging.
Notes to Physician
Treatment: Treat symptomatically.
Fire-fighting measures
Suitable extinguishing media: water spray jet, Dry powder., Carbon dioxide., Foam.
Special hazards from the substance itself, its combustion products or from its vapours: In case of fires, hazardous combustion gases are formed: Carbon, monoxide (CO)., Carbon dioxide (CO2), Nitrogen oxides (NOx)
Special protective equipment for firefighting: Use self-contained breathing apparatus.
Further information: Fire residues and contaminated firefighting water must be disposed of in accordance with the local regulations.
Accidental release measures
Personal precautions: Avoid dust formation. Use personal protective clothing.
Environmental precautions: Do not allow to enter drains or waterways.
Methods for cleaning up/taking up: Take up mechanically. Avoid raising dust. Clean contaminated floors and objects thoroughly, observing environmental regulations. When picked up, treat material as prescribed under heading "Disposal".
Handling and storage
The intermediate substance is directly loaded from the container to the reactor using an ventilation system.
The intermediate is completely transformed in another product and no residue is released.
Sampling, analysis, storage, loading and unloading of equipment, cleaning and waste disposal are managed under exhaust ventilation to prevent any significant release of the substance.
During these process workers follow the internal procedure and wear appropriate PPE.
Only trained and authorised personnel handle the substance. The workers are provided with training and with a "safety sheet" for each substance they use; this sheet contains the procedures during the normal handling and during the malfunctioning of the process and in accidental situations with the actions to be taken in order to safeguard themselves and other workers at the workplace. Access to all safety data sheet is provided for all workers.
Advice on safe handling (workshop): Local ventilation and emission point extraction. Take precautionary measures against electrostatic loading.
Render equipment and apparatus inert (nitrogen, inert gases).
Requirements for storage rooms and vessels: Keep only in the original container
Further information on storage conditions: Keep container tightly closed and dry. Protect from light. Keep away from heat.
