Data platform availability banner - registered substances factsheets

Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Description of key information

The key ecotoxicity values to assess the aquatic toxicity of the registered substance are as follow:

- Short-term toxicity to fish: 96h-LC50 = 0.22 mg/L (experimental);

- Short-term toxicity to aquatic invertebrates: 48h-EC50 = 0.8 mg/L (QSAR prediction);

- Toxicity to aquatic algae and cyanobacteria: 72h-EC50 = 0.16 mg/L (QSAR prediction).

Based on these results, the lowest acute E(L)C50 is below 1 mg/L.

CLP Classification proposal

It is proposed to compare submission substance dataset to CLP environmental criteria laid down in CLP Regulation.

Acute aquatic hazard: category 1. Reasoning: lowest E(L)C50 < 1 mg/L.

M-factor acute = 1 because the lowest E(L)C50 is between 0.1 and 1 mg/L

Chronic aquatic hazardcategory 1. Reasoning: adequate chronic toxicity data are not available. The substance is considered as not rapidly degradable, with a log Kow > 4 and the lowest E(L)C50 value is below 1 mg/L.

M-factor chronic = 1 because the lowest E(L)C50 is between 0.1 and 1 mg/L
