Any other information on results incl. tables

Run 1

On-set (beginning) temperature: 128 °C

40 % Transmission: 134 °C

Clear point: 149 °C

Run 2

On-set (beginning) temperature: 128 °C

40 % Transmission: 134 °C

Clear point: 149 °C

The difference between the temperature at the beginning and at the final stage of melting is outside the limits of the accuracy, therefore both temperatures are reported.

Experimental conditions:

Start temperature 120 °C

Heating rate 1 °C

Result:

The on-set temperature was 128 °C. The clear point was reached at 149 °C. Melting range : 128 °C -149 °C.

Applicant's summary and conclusion

Conclusions:
Melting range: 128 °C -149 °C.
Executive summary:

The melting point/range of the test item was determined using a melt microscope according to the OECD Test Guideline 102 [adopted on 27 July 1995] and EU test method A.1 [“Melting/freezing temperature”].

The melting point was determined according DIN EN 3143 (previous version. DIN 53736) using a melting point system (MP80, METTLER Toledo) in two independently experiments. The test item was homogenized by pestling.

The on-set temperature I 128 °C. The clear point was reached at 149 °C. Melting range : 128 °C -149 °C.
