Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Description of key information

The study does not need to be conducted because direct and indirect exposure of soil is unlikely.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Additional information

The substance is manufactured and used under strictly controlled conditions during its whole life cycle. A description of all life cycle steps during manufacture and use of the substance by the registrant, as well as rigorous containment measures and procedural and control technologies is laid down in the report attached to IUCLID section 13.2. Further, this report provides information on training of personnel, cleaning and maintenance procedures and documentation of substance-handling procedures.

The resulting environmental exposure related to all identified uses is insignificant. The predicted environmental exposure concentration is always well below the relevant PNEC as demonstrated by RCR values of < 0.01 (see chemical safety report attached to IUCLID section 13.1).

In line with REACH Annex XI, section 3a), testing according to Annex VIII (only sections 8.6 and 8.7), Annex IX and Annex X may be omitted, based on exposure scenario(s) developed in the Chemical Safety Report.
