Applicant's summary and conclusion

Conclusions:
The test item has been determined to have an auto-ignition temperature of 392 ± 5°C.
Executive summary:

INTRODUCTION

Hazardous physico-chemical properties of the test item have been determined.

Methods employed are designed to be compatible with those specified in Commission Regulation (EC) No 440/2008 of 30 May 2008, Part A: Methods for the determination of physico-chemical properties and the current OECD Guidelines for Testing of Chemicals.

Method

The auto-ignition temperature was determined by heating aliquots of the test item in a flask and observing for any ignition. Testing was conducted using a procedure designed to be compatible with Method A15 Auto-Ignition Temperature (Liquids and Gases) of Commission Regulation (EC) No 440/2008 of 30 May 2008.

Conclusion

The test item has been determined to have an auto-ignition temperature of 392 ± 5°C.
