Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Description of key information

Toxicity to microorganisms: no significant inhibition of respiration rates (OECD 209).

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Additional information

EC10 >1000 mg/L for microorganisms.

The EC10 for the test material is much higher than its water solubility.

The results obtained for the read-across source substance WS405777 indicate that the test material is not toxic to sewage bacteria up to the limits of its water solubility (<1 mg/L) and a NOEC and thus a PNEC cannot be determined.

The same conclusion can be drawn for the read-across target substance WS406663 based on the close chemical similarity between the two substances.
