Description of key information

Biodegradation: Methacrylamide is readily biodegradable in OECD 301 E screening test: 97 % biodegradation within 28 days, fulfilling 10 day window.

Abiotic degradation by hydrolysis under environmental conditions of methacrylamide is low.

Bioaccumulation: log Pow of methacrylamide is -0.15, therefore bioaccumulation of methacrylamide is not expected.

Adsorption to solid soil phase is not expected: Koc: 8.91 L/kg, log Koc: 0.95
