Data platform availability banner - registered substances factsheets

Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Description of key information

Increasing with increasing dry matter content.
e.g.:
110 mPa s at 40 °C (density 1.24 g/cm³)
45 mPa s at 90 °C (density 1.24 g/cm³)
1250 mPa s at 40 °C (density 1.29 g/cm³)
880 mPa s at 90 °C (density 1.29 g/cm³)
266 mPa s at 20 °C (Vinasses, residue of fermentation, ca. 65% dry material)
108 mPa s at 40 °C (Vinasses, residue of fermentation, ca. 65% dry material)

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Additional information

Method: rotational viscosimeter.

Some viscosity data were derived from a test with Vinasses, residue of fermentation (65% dry mass) which was performed according to OECD Guideline 114 (rotational viscosimeter, DIN 53019).

Since all Vinasses are very similar in composition, viscosity is as well very similar, but depends on the concentration of dry matter.

Viscosity is not a relevant property for Vinasses in solid form.
