Description of key information

Bioaccumulation of sulphamidic acid is not expected.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Additional information

Considering the central role of sulfamic acid in metabolism, the bioaccumulation concept does not apply to this substance. The high water solubility inorganic substance indicates that there is no body lipid storage potential or potential for bioaccumulation via the food chain.
