Description of key information
The chemical 3-oxoglutaric acid caught fire when the flame of bunsen burner having temperature of 950oC was brought in contact with it. However, since such high temperature conditions do not exist during transportation or use of the chemical it can be concluded that the chemical is non-flammable.

The chemical 3-oxoglutaric acid is considered to be non-flammable for the purpose of classification as it catches fire at very high temperature of about 950oC
