Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Details on sediment and application:
Bacterial enzyme inhibition was measured after 4 h by applying a colorimetric assay.

Test organisms

Test organisms (species):
other: Arthrobacter globiformis
Details on test organisms:
The sediment contact assay with the soil bacterium Arthrobacter globiformis (DIN 38412-L48) was applied in the version modified for liquid samples (Neumann-Hensel and Melby, 2006). Through the activity of the bacterial dehydrogenases the blue Resazurin turned into the pink Resorufln, indicating healthy cells. A. globiformis is one of the most common aerobic chemohet- erotrophic bacteria in soils.

Reported statistics and error estimates:
The confidence interval (a = 0.05) of the IC50 value was calculated using the R language. The dose-response curve parameters and plots were obtained using the drift package (version 0.05-92) for the R language and environment for statistical computing (www.r-pro- ject.org) as well as SigmaPlot Version 10.
