Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.
The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Additional information
One valid key study is available to assess the long-term toxicitiy of Chimexane NB to Daphnia magna.
This study was performed according to OECD Guideline 211 and EU Method C.20 with GLP statement.10 test organisms (2 to 24 hours old at test start), individually held, were used per concentration level (nominal concentrations: 0.0512, 0.128, 0.320, 0.800 and 2.00 mg/L) and control. This study was carried out under semi-static conditions with a three times per week renewal of the test solutions. The tested concentrations levels of the test item and the control were analytically verified via LC-MS/MS of samples on days 0, 7, 16, 19 (fresh media, 0h) and on days 2, 9, 21 (old media, 48h) and 19 (old media, 72h). The recoveries in the fresh media were determined to be in the range of 87 to 119%. The recoveries in the old media were in the range of 30 to 105%. Therefore, all effect values given are based on the geometric mean measured concentrations. The geometric mean measured concentrations were calculated to be 0.0398, 0.111, 0.266, 0.787 and 2.04 mg/L.
Effects on the reproduction capacity and other test item-related effects or parameters (such as time of production of first brood, adult mortality, intrinsic rate of natural increase, occurrence of aborted eggs and stillborn juveniles and body length of the parental daphnids) were recorded.
The 21d-NOEC value based on the observed reduction of the reproductive output was 0.266 mg/L. The 21d-EC10 and the 21d-EC50 were 0.557 and 1.22 mg/L, respectively, based on reproduction.
All validity criteria were fulfilled.
