Method:
A flash point tester with a continuously closed cup was used. The results of this apparatus are equivalent to the Pensky Martens method.
Validation of the System:
The flash point of n-decane was measured to be 50.0 °C (Literature value: 50.0 °C according to the ERM certificate of analysis).
Flash Point of the Test Item:
The flash point of N-(2,2-Dimethoxyethyl)acrylamidewas determined to be 132 °C.
