First-aid measures

4.1 Description of first aid measures

General inforamtion: Remove injured from exposure. Remove contaminated clothing and shoes.
Consult a physician.
After inhalation: Remove to fresh air and monitor breathing. If breathing becoming difficult,
give oxygen and consult a physician. If breathing stops, give artificial
respiration and consult a physician.
After skin contact: Take off contaminated clothing immediately, wash the skin with plenty of water and soap without any delay. Get medical attention immediately.

After eye contact:  Rinse the eyes with water for at least 20 minutes with eyelids open wide.
Obtain medical, ophthalmologic attention immediately.
May cause severe eye irritation.
cts, both acute and delayed.

After swallowing:

Wash out the mouth with clear water if the patient is conscious.
Consult with a physician.
Do not give anything by mouth to an unconscious person

4.3 Indication of any immediate medical attention and special treatment needed:
No specific antidote. Treat symptomatically and supportively.

Fire-fighting measures

5.1 Extinguishing media
5.1.1 Suitable extinguishing media:
Water spray, carbon dioxide, extinguishing powder, foam.
5.1.2 Unsuitable extinguishing media: None
5.2 Special hazards arising from the substance or mixture: CO, CO2, NOx
5.3 Advice for firefighters Wear self-contained breathing apparatus and protective clothing for firefighting.
5.3.1 Fire hazard class Extremely flammable solid or danger of explosion

Accidental release measures

6.1 Personal precautions, protective equipment and emergency procedures
As a general rule, when handling avoid all contact and inhalation of dust, mists, and/or vapours associated with the material.
6.2 Environmental precautions: Hinder substance from entering soil, sewers or living water.
6.3 Methods and material for containment and cleaning up:
Clean-up spilled material avoiding raising dust using vacuum. Collect the material in a properly labelled container, show on the label “hazardous waste, for disposal”. Dispose the hazardous waste by incineration. Wash spill site thoroughly with water after material pickup is complete. Do not let the material and the contaminated water to sewers, drains, underground or living waters. Collect the water in a suitable container, label the container properly and dispose in a similar way to the material itself.

Handling and storage

7.1 Precautions for safe handling

Handling Avoid generation of dust. Avoid inhalation of dust.
Avoid contact with eyes.

Avoid contact with skin, eyes, and chlothes.
Wear protective clothes and equipment.
Do not breath dust, wear appropriate dust mask.
Wash your hands and face thoroughly after handling.
Ensure acces to a safety shower and eyebath.

Safety measures Suitable general and local exhaust ventillation is needed.
Minimize dust formation.

Fire and explosion protection measures:
Combustible material. Dust/air mixture may ignite or explode.
Take measures against electrostatic discharges.
7.2 Conditions for safe storage,
including any incompatibilities
Keep in a well-ventillated place.
Keep in tightly closed and labelled storage containers. Keep in dry and cool
place. Protect from heat and light.
