Additional information

TS-ED 532 is a transparent liquid at 20 °C and 101.3 kPa. The melting point is -21.5 °C, boiling point is >300 °C. The relative density (D4 at 20 °C) is 1.0030. The viscosity at 20 °C was estimated to be 123 mPas. The vapour pressure was determined to 1.1x10-7 Pa at 25 °C and 4.8x10-8 Pa at 20 °C and the n-octanol/water partition coefficient for TS-ED 532 was determined to log Pow = 6.4 at 25 °C. TS-ED 532 has very low water solubility, approximately 0.07 mg/l.The rate of hydrolysis is limited due to thelow water solubility.TS-ED 532 is considered to be stable in organic solvents and no degradation products is expected. The flash point of TS-ED 532 was determined to 244 °C at 101.3 kPa and the auto-ignition temperature to 370 °C.

TS-ED 532 is not expected to be flammable and no flammable gas is evolved in contact with water or humi air. TS-ED 532 does not have explosive or oxidising properties. The heat of combustion (calorific value) of TS-ED 532 was determined to be 31.83 MJ/kg.

Based on these results, TS-ED 532 is not expected to have hazardous properties and is not classified according to GHS and DSD-DPD.
